CD/DVD drive disabled/not getting detected

You might some times find that there's no cd/dvd drive icon in the explorer. In order to fix this, all you need to do is : -
1.Go to my computer, on the top you can see system properties, click on system properties option.

2.A dialog box appears containing various options on the right hand side(In Windows 10 system), click on Device manager.

3.On clicking on the device manager, the below window will open.

You can see the warning mark there, right click on it and click on scan for hardware changes. The drive will now appear on the explorer.

The same process can be followed for fixing the USB drive issue.
