Nikon D3400 SnapBridge Pairing Failed? Here’s How to Fix It (Complete Guide)

Worried about your Nikon D3400 not getting paired on SnapBridge? Don’t worry, I ran into the same issue, and here’s how I fixed it.

When I opened the SnapBridge app, I got a pop-up message saying that “for some Android devices, there may be issues with the connection” and that restarting Bluetooth might help.

Naturally, I followed the suggestion, I restarted Bluetooth on both my phone and camera. Unfortunately, it didn’t work.

I then tried connecting it directly from the bluetooth option, but encountered an error which read that the pairing failed because on an incorrect pin/passkey, without even prompting me to enter the pin.

Some users online also recommended unpairing and re-pairing the devices. I tried that too, still no luck.

Finally, as a general rule of thumb, I decided to uninstall and reinstall the SnapBridge app, and wooh! it worked instantly.

If your D3400 refuses to pair no matter what you try, give this simple step a go. Sometimes, all it takes is a fresh app install to reset permissions and clear out hidden connection glitches.

Let me know if that helped you.
