Enable or Disable Proxy Using a Batch File in Windows Sometimes, you might need to quickly turn your system proxy ON or OFF, for example, when switching between a corporate network, VPN, or your home connection. Instead of navigating through Internet Options each time, you can do it instantly using a batch file. Open notepad and add the following text

Delete temporary files using command prompt

Go to run command and type CMD , then command prompt will open then ☺Once at the prompt type: cd\ del *.tmp ☺Delete all temporary files found in the root directory of the C drive. ☺Next type: cd\ cd temp ☺If present or in the C:\TEMP> directory type del *.* and delete all files in the temp directory. ☺Once deleted or if the temp folder is not present type: cd\ cd windows cd temp ☺If present or in the C:\Windows\TEMP> directory type del *.* and delete all files in the C: windows temp directory.

How to execute MASM programs in Windows 7

This works for 32bit OS only, to execute masm programs in windows 7, all you've to do is go to c drive > click on windows > then system i.e C:windows:system32 and paste the following files.Then follow the usual procedure to execute Alternate method is, place this masm folder in c drive, then open command prompt by typing cmd in run command, then type  cd/masm, then follow the normal execution procedure.

How to resume the downloading of files in internet download manager?

It’s really annoying to see when the download is almost 99% completed and due to some internet problems the download either fails or asks to refresh the download address. I wondered why isn’t there any solution to this? (remember computer and other things have worked most of the times on trial and error method, and this might not always work). So I browsed through the internet but could hardly find solution to this, so then I began trying out the things , I found that it could indeed be resumed, the thing you need to do is, copy the download address and paste the same in place of the referrer as indicated in the image , and the download resumes.. Note- It might not work for websites like rapidshare and all such related websites….

    Steps?. It's again a tedious and time consuming, go through the article once again to get the gist of the article/tutorial.
